Spring Fest Preparations

Regardless the unusual amount of rain that is pouring down this March, today has been a very Spring-inspired day. The Host Family Event is coming up in four days. A lot had to be done! The preparations for the Spring Event are getting into top gear.

Some of my au pairs came over to help with the egg-dying and cupcake-topping this evening. We successfully prepared three dozen of hard boiled eggs in pink, blue, green, orange and yellow, for the Egg race, table decorations and of course: to eat!

The cupcakes were a little tougher: compared to the eggs, the cupcakes will probably not last until the Spring Event. Therefore I let my au pairs take a handful of cupcakes home to enjoy with their host families.

I am very excited to see everybody on Sunday to celebrate Spring together!
